The Genesis of Thought

Before there were stars or earth or light,

There was thought – the primordial seed of might.

Floating in vast expanse of empty night,

A single point kindled, stirring to ignite.

In solitude thought contemplated its place,

Birthing ideas unbounded by time and space.

Worlds and dimensions began to interlace,

As imagination shaped all matter and grace.

Nature and soul sprang forth from musing divine,

Galaxies spun with patterned design.

Beauty and life did thoughtfully entwine,

Until existence did brightly shine.

Grand creator in minds of women and men,

Pen that writes beyond now and then.

Thought always comes before the hen,

Concept is the father – this was way back when.

It is still thus, nothing has truly changed,

Thought is the genesis from where life arranged.

Ideas technicolor realms deranged,

As children of consciousness wide and strange.

So seed and nurture each mentation,

Mind’s fruit manifests across creation.

From sublime dreams to innovations,

Thought remains father of manifestations.
